Terms and Conditions
By using our domestic & international cargo services,
you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully
before booking your shipment.
1. Pickup
- Free
pickup is available only if there are at least 3 packages per day.
- If
there is no regular pickup, please inform us before 10:00 AM.
- Packages
must be ready by 11:00 AM for morning pickup and by 5:00 PM
for evening pickup.
- All
packages must include proper PAN/VAT bills. Any interruptions from
the Customs Department due to missing documentation will not be
entertained.
The Courier Company reserves the right to refuse acceptance
of any consignment, in whole or in part. Consignments may also be inspected if
we believe these terms have been breached (e.g., to check for dangerous goods).
2. Dangerous Goods
Dangerous goods are items that may pose risks to health and
safety during transportation. These include, but are not limited to:
- Explosives
- Radioactive
materials
- Items
requiring specialist treatment or handling
Customers must provide a full description of any such goods.
Failure to disclose the nature of dangerous goods will make the customer liable
for all resulting loss or damage.
3. Handling and Liability
- The
customer authorizes the Courier to handle, store, or transport goods by
any method or route deemed appropriate.
- The
Courier Company will not be liable for loss, damage, delay, or misdelivery
caused by:
- War,
terrorism, riots, strikes, lockouts, or similar actions
- Natural
disasters or extreme weather conditions
- Seizure
or detention by public authorities
- Incorrect
or insufficient address details
- Inadequate
packaging
- Natural
wastage of perishable or fragile items
- Traffic
congestion or delays
- Any
other event reasonably beyond our control
4. Claims for Loss or Damage
- Any
loss or damage must be reported in writing within 3 days of delivery
or within 7 days of order creation.
- Customers
must provide written evidence to establish the value of the loss (e.g.,
supplier invoice).
- An
estimate for repair or maintenance may also be requested.
- In
case of damage, it must be reported at the time of delivery.
- Claims
will be processed in accordance with Transport and Airline (Cargo)
rules.
Important Note: If loss or damage is caused due to loose
or insufficient packaging, the Courier Company shall not be held
responsible.
5. Return and Exchange
- Return
and exchange services will be charged at the same rate as delivery charges
for shipments outside the Kathmandu Valley.
- For
shipments within the Kathmandu Valley, charges will apply as per prior
discussion.
